A Flicker in the Dark by Stacy Willingham

Did not finish book.
I honestly just found the protagonists to be insufferable, and maybe that's harsh and the plot would have been worth pushing through but... not for me.

In the first few chapters she abuses her position in mental health care to writer herself prescriptions-- oh, but it's okay because that's not why she's in the field-- which she writes under her fiancés name, but not to his knowledge, and then proceeds to just not tell her husband-to-be any important information about herself or her mental health; because, hey, being mentally ill should be an aspect of shame that your partner has no right to?

I allowed myself the happiness of not pushing through to the real plot, because screw this character.
