Kill Anything That Moves: The Real American War in Vietnam by Nick Turse

5.0

As with all books of this genre, it is a disturbing read because it is true, well reported, something so many of us lived through.
Worse, we hear these stories repeated in Afghanistan, Iraq, Ethiopia and many other nations where the west claims to be forging a peace
There is a further extrapolation that can be made into the worlds of business and global and national politics and that is that our leaders are little different from those that encouraged abuses then and covered up the results of their crimes.
From mass murder to mass corporate theft, to the manipulation of the truth and reality in the media, we face the same threat to our democracy from those who lack the courage to own up to what they have done
