BEFORE YOU READ: The author doesn't provide detailed enough tw/cw so here we go: so much violence against women (mentioned throughout as the mcs are trying to rescue the victims) women are kidnapped (including a side character), raped (there is some detail when mc relives some of the victim's final moments), tortured (minor details given), and killed, snuff flims, red room/dark web stuff (plot point, not on page), stalking (li to mc, but also bad guy to mc), murder (of bad guys, a lot, on page), torture (also of bad guys), and explicit sex with undernegotiated kinks (including: dominance/submission, bloodplay and knifeplay)
This book follows another Mulvaney brother, August. He's a professor by day, vigelante killer by night. When he bumps into a new professor (with a tragic past), he's smitten at first glance.
It's a shame that Lucas is a psychic, who now knows that August is a serial killer.
This plot is batshit. We're randomly introducing psychics after having no paranormal activity in book one?
