Is a very strongly written shapeshifter book. This I a fabulous resvre harmen book and is the first in the series. Annalise is called to see her father whom hasn't spoken to her in a year. What she sees is not what she remember of her father. She's told that is she doesn't marry her before her father passes she most likely be kicked out of the Palace. He's accepted an offer for her to marry she will meet this man within a week. Annalise is not valued by her father at all. This is the beginning to a wonderful story.
