This book is the exploration of the regular man, that being, the man in the most mundane yet significant forms in life. We follow William Stoner, a regular boy up until his death. It was interesting to read a story about a regular man and experience benign parts of his life to the point where his life felt almost synonymous to us - the reader. I would highly recommend this book to those who want to start their foray into classic literature but are afraid of the earlier works. A great story that is simple but still packs a punch.
