OH MY GOD this was a hell of a ride! I didn't expect an amnesia storyline but I liked it here more than I usually do! Also, am I crazy or was this supposed to be a trilogy? I'm definitely not mad about another book though! Despite this not going anywhere I expected it to, I adored listening to this book. I read the first few chapters on paper too, but the audiobook makes it come to life so much more! And of course, I'm able to listen while I work, but not so much read a hefty book. I'm so excited for the next chapter in Bree's story

Fade to black sexual content between 17 year olds. No flashbacks to slavery like in previous books, but discussion of it. Amnesia trope, but different. Fighting and destruction of animal shaped constructs. Scene involving a person being trafficked. An auction that includes the sale of trafficked people
