I'm a little baffled as to why this is considered necessary reading for people who are uninterested or have no need for military strategy. Every middle class white man that's recommended this to me must have had a great time sitting there feeling like there was any reason for them to study military strategy when we all know full well that the closest to combat they'll ever get is a bar fight.
That being said I know Sun Tzu is an important military historical figure and would recommend this to people who are aiming to become a military general or writers who want to add some realistic military strategy.
