Olive Kitteridge by Elizabeth Strout

4.0

This was an something of an impulse purchase, made before a trip for work. I was so engrossed that I read this in two sittings, then passed it on to a friend who found it equally enjoyable. Strout is an excellent storyteller, and her characters come alive on the page. These feel like *real* people- real people with lives not particularly extraordinary, but certainly interesting when related by Strout.
