While this is an anthology, my review is only based on Taken By the Mafia Prince by Lee Savino and KT Strange.
I admit to being a bit over the whole mafia romance genre which has been so popular lately but having been a fan of Lee Savino's for a while (I haven't read anything from KT Strange) I was interested to read this story. It does form part of an anthology, so it is very much a short story but I enjoyed it immensely. The characters were well drawn with each one being very individual, the setting made for interest and the supporting characters were charming. As a single character Leah was quirky and lovable and brought so much happiness and light to the story. Meanwhile, Royal was charming, tender and adoring of this woman who had made such a first impression. I also didn't expect to laugh while reading a mafia story, but that only added to my enjoyment of this. I loved the inclusion of their initial meeting as an Epilogue.
