  I cried in the first book when

Sloan's love life took a turn

and I nearly cried in the second book when

she got her second chance.

So glad that I accidentally read these in order because I had no idea they were connected. This gave me all the soft happy feels the first half of the book. The second half after Jason goes on tour is full of all the drama that typically happens. Did I love it though?! Absolutely. Also happy that

Nikki/Lola got her redemption in the end.

(And also realizing that it's now mildly connected to the other AJ books I've read).
