The Only Option by Megan Derr

3.5

I've been giving certain titles of Megan Derr's a second chance with mixed results. This was actually a pleasant surprise.

For having said in my first review that I started losing interest in the mids of the story I certainly couldn't remember a lick of it when I re-read it now.

It took a bit to start things in the beginning, some inaccuracies here and there that I have come to expect from Megan Derr but all and all a delightful story of a wounded, pessimistic, 40+yo necromancer and a young dragon desperate of help to save his territory, so much so to force a marriage between him and the necromancer. Chemistry aplenty and pining plus UST and magic.

I'm glad I gave this a second chance!

Didn't really captured me and around the middle I lost what little interest I had. I was expecting more really based on the premise and the unwanted marriage thing but it didn't quite work out.
