The Optician's Wife by Betsy Reavley
2.0
I felt this book didn’t flow very well- I felt a little all over the place.
My favorite part of the book is the very end, the last scene I’d say. (Last 2-5 minutes on audio). And that was really the highlight of the book.
This book started out so promising, but quickly fell flat for me. I felt a lot of the story was unnecessary fluff. While somewhat relevant, it seemed to give the story unneeded distractions.
I felt the entire plot was pretty predictable. I had almost everything figured out pretty early on, so what I think was meant to be a twist, didn’t even register on my meter.
I do not recommend this one :(
