The Paradise Problem by Christina Lauren

4.0

A very high 4.25!!! probably my favorite Christina Lauren so far! Kinda hard to believe this is the same authorset that wrote Josh & hazel HAHA

I’ve been seeing the paradise problem everywhere, and so many people hyped it up that i knew i had to get a copy to see if it was worth the hype. After a devastating run with the Josh and hazel book, my expectations were pretty low—but i actually ended up loving this? It’s really more of a fun, beach read with great banter and chemistry; the authors do a great job of building up the heat within the relationship. I feel like some people might get a bit thrown off with how the pair reconnect a few years later—but just keep in mind that this isn’t meant to be anything deep. Truly a once brain cell-er that’s pure fun and hijinks.

Is it the best romcom novel? No. I think you’re equally able to find books with the same level of fun and banter, whilst still having a little more depth and “oomph” in terms of the development of each character. Was it fun anyway? Heck yeah!
