Mouse tells Bear that a four leaf clover will bring him luck. Bear searches high and low. He can't find a clover. All of the animals discourage him. Finally, mouse helps him find a five leaf clover. The book tastefully illustrates the values of friendship and perseverance. The illustrations are simple and well done. The prose is concise and just right for a wiggly young reader.
