This book straddles the line of whether it goes on my favorites shelf or not. Much like the other books of this series. I listened to the audiobook, and it is definitely entertaining. I read the spin-off series first, so this book is a bit spoiled on the overall story arcs, so I generally disregard those when rating. However, I do feel this whole series is plagued by not being full stories. Each book is an installment in a greater story arc. I can't really say this book has a real beginning middle and end. There were bits and pieces of all of the above. The characters are fun and generally interesting. The audiobook narrator is just alright for me. I think if I were reading the book on my tablet, the main character's voice would've had more sass at times, and less naiveite.
