Echoes of Sherlock Holmes by Leslie S. Klinger, Laurie R. King

4.0

An outstanding collection of Sherlock Holmes inspired stories - especially noteworthy because, for me, there's only three or four par or sub-par entries in the bunch and even those perhaps suffer by comparison to the well-written majority. Standouts include "Holmes on the Range" (not to be confused with the Steve Hockensmith series), "Mrs. Hudson Investigates" and "Before a Bohemian Scandal", all of which infuse a light-hearted, winky humor into territory that can be a little too self-reverential.

I received an ecopy from the publishers and NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.
