The Girl Least Likely
by Katy Loutzenhiser
the girl least likely was a nice read, but it didn’t fully hit the mark for me. while the concept was fun, the pacing felt way too slow at times. there were so many overly detailed parts that i found myself skipping ahead just to get back to the actual plot. some moments felt unnecessary, and the ending left me wanting more, it could have been wrapped up in a way that felt stronger and more satisfying.
but one thing i did love? gretchen’s character. she really inspired me to step out of my comfort zone, take risks, and just be myself. her journey of self-discovery was the best part of the book, and i loved seeing her grow into someone more confident and open to the world around her. while this wasn’t a new favorite for me, i still appreciated the message about embracing change and going after what you want.
