The Merchant of Death by Lisa Henry, J.A. Rock

emotional mysterious fast-paced

5.0

Henry runs off again, but this time it is because his sister needs help because she feels there is an evil presence there. So Henry dresses up as his sister to investigate, dragging Mac into it because Mac needs his witness to also testify that it was a hit man he shot as he is being investigated at work. They also struggle with the push and pull of their personalities as they come closer to a relationship.
It was more tense, so it kept me reading longer than I really had time for. So much fun to read.
