Blaze by Suzanne Wright
3.0
Rating: 3.5
Blaze started off very slowly as Harper and Knox's relationship was re-established.
However, I enjoyed Blaze more than Burn. This book introduced an overarching plot that was interesting. In additon, we got to see interactions between Harper's friends and Knox's sentinels which was fun and a welcome subplot.
But some of the things I disliked in Burn were still prevalent here:
- "Telling and not showing" when it came to personality and character traits
- All Harper and Knox's friends gave them advice as if they were therapists and were emotionally detached from the situation
Also, why does every women Knox ever dated have it out for Harper? Aren't we past this tired trope? Just because Knox chose Harper doesn't mean we have to have evidence that all his previous hook ups were inferior to his mate
