One of the best books I have read in a very long time. I've followed Akbar around for a while because of his poetry, and while I thought I could predict a lot of the book because of how autobiographical it felt at times, the prose was just gorgeous. It was relatable without trying too hard, emotional without being aggravating, devastating if you gave it a chance. I think it's an essential read.
