Thought this was going to be a bit TOO YA-y for my taste, but this is so detailed, loads of sources on Nazi history in the back - Mayhew has DONE her research. But the amount of research doesn't make it dry, this is a LGBTQ+ YA story based in a Nazi run Britain in 2013-2014 that is fully believable and fully emotional. Kind of wish I'd read it when I was a bit younger, but still hits just as hard.
