Let There Be Light: The Real Story of Her Creation by Liana Finck

Liana Finck could write (and draw) about anything, and I'd be captivated. In this handful of stories from the Book of Genesis, she casts a relatable, imperfect woman as God, draws Abraham as a New York City artist, Joseph as a merman. As is her signature style, Finck's storytelling is both hilarious and touching. This book is a wonderful example of reclaiming the stories we are told and making them ours.
