Temperance: The First Date by Harry Applebottom

3.0

Short yes, erotica? Ehh? The author has strong characterization with a decent plotline -Calvin is a dominant man looking for a relationship after a long time in the hookup world while Austin is a kinky virgin looking for love- but Temperance is a short story marked erotica which is misleading. There’s a lot of talking with no action until the very end and it doesn’t happen between the characters the reader expects.

I’d say this was definitely what it was titled: The First Date. I don’t know if I would turn up for a second date myself, but it’s a possibility I would leave open.

Note: I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. My review is entirely my own opinion; I welcome anyone interested in the work to reach their own conclusions.
