Book Lovers by Emily Henry

4.5

This was the Lost in Romance Book Club pick for July. It took me 6 months to finally read it, but I am so glad I did. This was another one that took me a little while to get into. This was my first Emily Henry book, but it definitely won't be my last. I think the reason why I struggled with this one a little bit at first is because it focuses a lot on the sister relationship between Nora and Libby and the personal lives of each of the characters which isn't necessarily a bad thing, but I am used to romance books focusing a lot on the romance and that is what I have come to know and love and expect when reading romances. I had to get used to the way this author writes romance. All of that to say once I got used to it, I really fell in love with the book. I personally still could have done with a little more of the romance because that's my favorite after all and the romance in here was amazing. Charlie and Nora are literally perfect for each other in every way and the chemistry between them was amazing. This book even had me tearing up in the end.
