I first watched the film, and then I read the book…neither disappointed. I’ve been taken on a tour around the Orkney Islands from the comfort of my flat. I’ve imagined the underground world, the adventures of surveys and learnt more of the history of Scotland.
The journey of addiction is tough to read, having struggled with this myself. I found comfort in Amy’s words. I found comfort in her bravery, and will keep her words close to my heart.
A truly amazing read that changes your life.
