I AM NOT OK. D.N. Hoxa loves to give me mini heart attacks and lose sleep over Nilah and Rune but it’s ok I’m used to it by now 😭 this was such a fantastic continuation to Lifebound! The story was engaging, tied well with where we left off in the last book and brought on a whole new set of characters and challenges that further expanded my knowledge of this beautiful world the author has created. Some of my initial suspicions were confirmed (yay me!) and ofc there were new twists that sent me! The spice was juuuuust right 🤌🏼 and the end is a damn cliffhanger that left me thirsty for book 3 😅
