This would’ve been a perfect duology if the author had chosen to tie things up by the end of book two. Could’ve been done and nobody would change my mind. This book felt pointless throughout. The plot was literally only the last 20%. I can honestly say I jumped from chapter 12 to the last 10 chapters and didn’t miss a thing….that tells you.

Also the character development wenf out the window for Jovis, my pal my favorite. I hated his ending
if you gonna pull something like that fucking have the guts to kill him off do not throw the memory loss arc at me in the las 30 pages. Wtf thT completely ruined his whole character arc. It made no sense to me

I loved book 1 and 2 and just going to pretend this book didn’t exist and they defeated everyone at the end of book 2 and went on to do their thing.
