Lies, Lies, Lies by Adele Parks

4.0

Christ what a book.

The narrative is so well written at times I had to take a break due to my own anger.

There are so many twists and turns in this book, I may well be a pretzel.

Veronica Henry was right by saying "Parks is the Queen of the domestic dark side"

Props to Adele Parks.

My only quarrel with this book is the finale. I wholeheartedly think the prose of inseminating yourself with the sperm of your friends husband, moments after their coitus is a stretch to say the least. I understand where Adele Parks was coming from - showing the desperation of wanting to be a mother, but it seemed rushed and ridiculous. That is the only drawback of the book. For me, anyway.
