The Queen's Man by Sharon Kay Penman

2.0

It definitely wasn't bad or poorly written. It was okay. There simply wasn't much to it. Some may consider it a comfort book, or a palate cleanser. It's easy to follow with a fairly straightforward plot and a cast of characters that never do anything really unexpected.

I think, because I have read and loved another book by Penman, I may have had expectations that were too high. If you enjoy cozy mysteries, this might be a book you'll enjoy.
