My review is honest and unbiased.
I started this book the moment it arrived on my kindle, please read the foreward as the Author does make note of some potential triggers. The book has abit of a slow space, but we are world building and getting to know the Main Character - KC (Kaitlin Crosse) from the band Torched who with her band mates have decided to put their band on hold to finish their education.
KC and another band mate Audrey enroll in Blue Ivy Prep, its an adjustment that has highs and lows (which is pretty much high school). We also get to know about KC's disfunctional family life and how different her actual life is from the perceived one that is splashed across social media. Whilst trying to ensure she is doing her best, she has to deal with bullying, ninja kisses, making honest friendships and dealing with family.... and the potential love interests.
The book builds into a major cliffhanger and leaves you sitting there, gaping like a fish and then easily wanting to start the second book.
