A Broken Blade by Melissa Blair
5.0
Oh. My. GOD!!!!
This book, where do I even start??
I love the wonderful and rich world that Melissa Blair created. It feels so fantastical and also very familiar and I love what the commentary regarding the Halflings says about how people exert control over groups they wish to control.
The characters we meet are so funny and likeable that I am looking forward to seeing more of them. I also like how their relationships grow within the group overtime and how they unfold differently. I love so many things that would probably spoil the book and I am trying to keep this spoiler free, but it had so many twists and turns that I did not expect and there was so much growth for Keera and other characters that I am looking forward to reading the next book.
