Definitely not crying at work over this little cat's journey or anything.
Despite the emotional hit at the end, this really is more of a "feel good" story. While the pace and plot are very low stakes, it works well with Nana's feline perspective. I'm a sucker for friendship reconnections and characters reminiscing the past, which this story does beautifully.
The audiobook also really nailed the speaking voice I imagined for Nana with a light, sarcastic tone.
