A Moveable Feast by Ernest Hemingway
3.0

I read this already knowing I couldn't get into Hemmingway's style, having attempted some of his classics. I was disappointed in the "portrait" of Paris, which is less a portrait than a rough outline with some random, inconsequential bits that added nothing. Things like the names of streets and the vague description of coffee (repeated multiple times), made me feel more like I was looking at the faded memories of another person, focused on details that only mattered to the individual.

This also keenly put me off re-reading anything by F. Scott Fitzgerald.
