Jessica Jones: Alias, Vol. 2 by Brian Michael Bendis, Michael Gaydos

3.0

Another volume another case: a missing person this time. An interesting take on a pretty usual storyline. A nice balance between the case itself and the character of Jessica Jones and those she comes across. I do like the portrayal of 'super hero baggage' that dogs Jessica.
What annoys me is the artwork style. Might be just me, but there are a lot of insert panels showing close ups of facial expressions, but the art quality is not good enough to indicate just what the expressions are supposed to be. I like the clever use of these panels, but just wish I could fathom the emotions they're supposed to express.
