I mean it was about a women who slept a year of her life away. I sat up to plow through reading the last ~100 pages or so. There were some nice prose parts. The main character is an apathetic asshole but sometimes acknowledged it. At times it was funny. They really let themselves go, metaphorically and also literally, and don't we all want to do that at times, or is that just my mental illness speaking? It was interesting, sometimes relatable through the variety of characters, tried to capture human tendencies and all .. but tbh IDK if I would pick it up to read again. THEY REALLY HAD TO TAKE IT TO A PLACE OF 9/11 THO???? They did reva so dirty with that shit
