I absolutely *loved* this book. It's a perfect story of how Roxi and Memnon began and how their love and dedication and obsession change over time.
It starts out sweet and innocent then moved to totally devoted before going full on "burn the world down for you". Both characters have to suffer and learn the consequences of their actions and intense love for each other. The ending is devastating, as we knew it would be. The heartbreak is so real and it really explains a lot of things that happen throughout the other two books.
LOVED it and I can't wait for the rest of the series.
