I liked this book but felt impartial or even disliked the characters- which I guess might be part of the point and made them feel more realistic? I liked the conversations between characters but the dynamics felt awkward and bizarre. Like none of them felt good for each other or destined to be together. so that made the ending feel bizarre to me. A little too neat and happy than what I was expecting. Overall I enjoyed the writing and especially Eileen and Alice’s emails to one another.
Moderate: Mental illness
Minor: Death of parent
