I love the story build-up. Unlike many recently written books, the characters didn't automatically meet and get together. Their love story progressed until a point where the author felt it was time to show something. We were anticipating when they would kiss or get closer but it took a while before they did. One of the reason I enjoyed this book was due to the build-up, great story lines, perfectly written, and it was just really amazing.
