How to Date Men When You Hate Men
by Blythe Roberson
slow-paced
I did like this book. it was an easy read and entertaining. 🍑 i personally have to say that i was a little disappointed with the actual content because it didn’t answer the title of the book. i expected something like a guide or idk on where to find the good feminists who see you as an equal and not just an object. or idk how to pick the ones who maybe aren’t femenists yet but have the biggest potential to be made into one (by yourself obviously) 🍑 nothing :( the other problem is that i couldn’t identify with the author bc a) she loves herself and is very confident and while there’s nothing wrong with that i just can’t seem to do that with myself and b) she DOESNT hate men. crazy huh? i mean not crazy for a normal woman who didn’t look further into patriarchy, violence against women and so on 🍑 CRAZY FOR A WOMAN WHO WRITES SUCH A TITLE. yes maybe i am overreacting idk and idc 🍑 because of these two aspects i couldn’t enjoy the book as much. (probably my bad mood because of a bad grading FROM A VERY SPECIFIC TEACHER has been dragging me down while reading this so i was basically prejudiced to hate everything and everyone) 🍑 i mean i eventually finished it bc as i said her style of writing was really good and i liked her examples UND ICH BIN EIN MACHER DESWEGEN SCHAFFE ICH ALLES UND GEBE NIE AUF. so das war’s :))
