This book was really intriguing...
I liked the story plot, the narrative, I really see the potential that would make this story a great series but I'm irked about a few things too.
I liked reading the book but ... Somehow I wish it was nicer in a way.
The characters are stupid (I know they are set in a YA fantasy but ...) , the politics is even more cruel that what is shown here. The end made me want to shake sense into the characters. I dunno .. I hope I get some clarity in the next book.
There is a lot of information that makes the world building good but I wouldn't consider it fast paced because it did take me some time to understand what all was happening and where all it was happening.
Next book .. I'll see if it keeps me hooked I'll read it
