I read this in Dutch and will probably do a re-read in English as I felt that it wasn't the best translation.
I liked the overall plot and that it focused on Melissa's feelings and her journey in coming out to her close friends and household as trans. I liked the simplicity of the story, Melissa acknowledging that she still had a lot to figure out, but also the direct support of her best friend, brother and eventually her mother. It was sweet.
