Upon realizing that the story opens up already to the point where the man is thinking about working up the courage/moment to ask Josie to marry him...I am not invested in these characters at all to care about this, nor do I know them even a little bit. The feeling of starting in the middle immediately killed any enjoyment that I could have going forward. I love the premise...it just needed to start from the beginning.
