The Sequel by Jean Hanff Korelitz

4.0

Good follow up to The Plot. Though it covers a lot of the same territory as its predecessor, it does so from the POV of the murderer Anna Williams Bonner. As the anti-hero, I never was exactly rooting for her though; I had the same creepy feeling that I had when watching The Sopranos—seeing murderous sociopaths go about their cold, hard business (and sort of enjoying it). The last 50 pages or so had some real twists and turns I wasn't expecting and really kept me turning the pages. Let's face it—if you read the first one, you have to read The Sequel.
