Okay, so I didn't really like this book. I liked the idea of the book, and I think the movie will be awesome. I just didn't like the language or something about the writing in the book. Thomas wakes up to find himself in the center of an inescapable maze. He decides he wants to be a runner in the maze to hopefully find a way out. He ends up being the only one to ever spend the night in the maze (while he was trying to save another boy) and surviving. Everything changes when the next arrival is a girl. The story itself is really good, and interesting, and I did keep reading, because I was intrigued. It was just the writing style or something, I am not quite sure. I did get this as a box set, so I did keep reading the entire trilogy, and as a whole I really liked the story.
