Audiobook. I am not sure how I feel about it yet. I think whenever we read a story like this, we are looking for the similarities between our own animals and the ones in the story. Yan has a yellow labrador which is actually the reason I picked up the book. This book's dog, Enzo, is a philosopher, while our dog only uses his cleverness in getting food from us. Some philosophy in the book is good, but the characters are too flat. Some plots are really bullshit and a little bit too convenient honestly. Halfway through the book, I was so done with the plot I stopped listening and went back to work lmao. None of the tearjerkers worked for me. I think the book dragged on for too long.
