This book felt so different from Vi’s past romances! Autumn and Donvovan make a perfect pair. Both characters have been through so much, in different ways yet they are so similar in way. Autumn is a very caring social worker who is a little bit closed off when it comes to relationships. Donovan has to he one of the best heros written by Vi! He is a lawyer that learned from a young age that your past and present doesn’t define your future. Both characters have great developments throughout the books and even from snippets we get from hearing about their pasts. Though this wasn’t my favorite book from Vi, I absolutely love Autumn and Donovan’s their meet cute. Autumn and Donovan, it was one of the funniest yet chemistry filled meet cutes! There truly was a spark from the first meeting and throughout the whole book.
