Five Broken Blades by Mai Corland

It took me a while to get into this one (6 POVs is a lot to follow), but once I was in I couldn’t put it down! The cast of characters gives a well-rounded understanding of each scene, even as new facts unfold throughout the book. The world building was very much there for me, and I was (lightly) crushed at the end to realize I’ll have to wait for a second book. 

Absolute, 100% 5-star read. I can’t stop talking about it.
