Jewish Futures: Science Fiction from the World's Oldest Diaspora by Michael A. Burstein

4.0

This anthology has a variety of Jewish science fiction stories, all of which feel Jewish at their core, and not just because the characters are Jewish. There's an unevenness to this anthology, with some weaker stories that might have benefitted from further editing, but some of the stronger stories really blew me away, and overall, I'm glad I picked it up. My personal favorites included Rachel Nussbaum Saves the World by Esther Freisner,  Baby Golem by Barbara Krasnoff, Frummer House by Leah Cypess, and my absolute favorite, Moon Melody by SM Rosenberg.
