Haunting Adeline by H.D. Carlton

3.0

This was traumatising to say the least. I was aware the sequel would be heavier, but goodness, I had to stop reading multiple times because I felt I needed to take a break.

Up until around 70% of the book there was good action and good plot progress. After that I feel like it dragged a little too long at points (eg: a couple of smut scenes were unnecessary imo).

Needless to say that it's not only heavier but sicker as well. I didn't mind it that much though.

I didn't hate it but I didn't live it either. I think I would be fine just having read only the first installment, without this one.

Honorable mention to Sibby who I love and made me laugh
