I am loving that more and more queer romance stories are going mainstream lately. I hope it continues and I hope to see more variety in the future.
This book was a good time. I related in different ways to both Elle and Darcy. From the start, I didn't get the sense that they really disliked each other. Their attraction to each other was there from the get-go, so the obstacles in their love story were all circumstantial or made by themselves.
Overall, I enjoyed this book. A part of me wishes that the angst was a bit more pointed or drawn out, but that is entirely my own preference. I am a sucker for messy emotions and the ones in this book were clean cut.
Would recommend this book to others.
